This January, a select group of NBA Basketball School Dubai players will travel to Manchester for something most young basketball players only dream about. From 15 to 17 January, the NBA Manchester Camp will take our members out of their usual training environment and into the world of the NBA itself.
The camp is invitation only and open exclusively to NBA Basketball School Dubai members. It combines elite training with the full matchday experience of a live NBA game, and it is one of the most exciting opportunities we have ever offered our players.
More Than a Camp
Our players train hard all year to improve their skills, their understanding of the game and their mindset. The Manchester Camp is designed to show them where that work can lead.
Over three days, campers will train, learn and watch the game at its highest level. They will see up close the speed, skill and professionalism that make the NBA the best basketball league in the world, and they will come home with memories and motivation to last much longer than the trip.
That’s why we describe it this way: this isn’t just a camp, it’s the NBA up close.
A Live NBA Game at Co-op Live
The highlight of the trip is a ticket to a live NBA game: the San Antonio Spurs against the New Orleans Pelicans at Co-op Live in Manchester, the UK’s largest indoor arena.
For many of our players, this will be their first time watching an NBA game in person. It’s one thing to follow the league on a screen late at night. It’s another to feel the noise of a full arena, watch the warm-ups from the stands and see how quickly the game moves when you’re in the building. It is an experience every young player should have, and we’re proud to make it possible.
The NBA House Fan Zone
Players will also receive a ticket to the NBA House Fan Zone, the NBA’s official fan experience. It’s a place to celebrate the game alongside fans from across Europe and beyond, and an important part of the trip’s atmosphere. Campers will soak up the excitement around the game and see how big the NBA’s global basketball community really is.
Four Elite Training Sessions
The Manchester Camp is still a basketball camp, and our players will be on the court working. The program includes four elite basketball training sessions that challenge campers to raise their level, sharpen their skills and train with the intensity and focus expected at the top of the game.
Training in a new city, in a new environment, alongside teammates on the same journey, adds a new dimension to everything they’ve worked on at home.
Meeting an NBA Ambassador
Campers will also take part in a visit and Q&A session with an NBA Ambassador. It is a rare chance to hear directly from someone who knows the league from the inside: the dedication it takes, the challenges along the way and the lessons that matter most both on and off the court.
Players will be able to ask their own questions, and for many of them this conversation could be one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
Official Camp Uniform
Every participant will receive an official uniform to wear during the camp. Players will represent NBA Basketball School Dubai in Manchester, and they will bring the uniform home as a keepsake from the experience.
An Exclusive Opportunity for Our Members
Places on the NBA Manchester Camp are limited and available by invitation only to NBA Basketball School Dubai members. This opportunity reflects the commitment our players show every week, and we can’t wait to share it with them.
